About us
Since its inception in September 2016, EWB has remained steadfast in its mission to empower vulnerable children through the provision of free, online, real-time education and mentorship. Our organization is dedicated to customizing courses and tutorials to cater to the unique needs of children facing special circumstances, such as orphans in unrecognized adoptions and those left behind. We believe in bridging educational disparities, teaching underprivileged children, and addressing the gaps left by traditional face-to-face volunteer teaching.
Presently, EWB boasts an active volunteer base of 371 individuals, comprising both volunteer teachers and dedicated committee members. Together, they have generously contributed over 40,000 hours of free online tutoring sessions to more than 500 children across 18 teaching sites and orphanages. Our EWBers, hailing from diverse corners of the globe, bring with them a wealth of educational backgrounds and life experiences. Despite their differences, they unite under a shared value: the unwavering commitment to helping others!
