Sunflower Academy nurtures orphans and de facto orphans, fostering their academic, mental health, and personal development.
Employing primarily one-on-one teaching approaches, Sunflower Academy delivers premium, child-centered online courses, aiming to bridge the gap in educational opportunities faced by these children.
Through exam-oriented classes covering subjects like Chinese, Mathematics, and English, we strive to counterbalance the deficiencies in their learning environments.
Additionally, our Mentors of the Stars Program offers personalized mentorship to these children, providing them with dedicated guides who offer support and care akin to family members.
In 2022，one student admitted by a high school，
three students successfully graduated from vocational high school.
We collaborated with the Mental Health team
to support the children through the emotional challenging period of Covid.
We offered over 1000 classes.

Shared Story
Haiyang holds the distinction of being the first student from Dalian Teaching Point to venture into high school. When I first met Haiyang, he was merely a third-grader in elementary school. Now, he stands tall as a freshman in high school. Over the span of seven years, we’ve witnessed his adorable childlike demeanor and empathized with his exam anxieties.
Following the high school entrance examination, despite the absence of online courses, our teachers upheld their customary bond. They eagerly awaited the exam results, deliberated on potential high schools, awaited confirmation of admission, and pondered over tuition fees.
It wasn’t until the official confirmation of admission that we breathed a collective sigh of relief. While the journey ahead may still be fraught with challenges, we collectively envision high school as a fresh beginning for Haiyang—a platform for him to boldly embrace the future.
